Helene Kim is the executive director of International and Executive Legal (IELE) Programs. Ms. Kim graduated from Harvard-Radcliffe College (A.B. summa cum laude) and Harvard Law School (J.D.) She previously was an associate attorney with Morrison & Foerster and also with Hancock Rothert, and practiced commercial litigation for five years. Ms. Kim also worked as a management consultant with McKinsey & Co. in Seoul from 1996-1998, where she focused on globalization issues and co-authored several pioneering articles on the topic of doing business in China for the South Korean leading economic journal Maeilkyungjaeshimbun. From 1998-2001, Ms. Kim served as Special U.S. Counsel to the PRC government-sponsored Great Wall Law Firm in Shanghai, where she helped to structure Sino-foreign equity joint ventures. Ms. Kim served on the AAPI National Leadership Council for then-Senator Obama's Presidential Campaign in 2008.
